Biography

Diana Lee Inosanto is an American actress, director, stunt performer, and martial artist.

Inosanto grew up surrounded by the martial arts world, studying many forms, including Jeet Kune Do and Eskrima, which she learned from her father, Dan Inosanto, a student of Jeet Kune Do founder Bruce Lee, who was also her godfather.

She has acted in a handful of TV series and films, including the Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard series Moonlighting and the Wesley Snipes film Blade (1998). She wrote and directed the film The Sensei (2008), In 2020, Inosanto appeared in one episode of the second season of Disney's The Mandalorian, playing the role of Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth and later reprised the role in Ahsoka and in the animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Empire.

She has been a stunt performer in various projects, including Face/Off (1997), Walker, Texas Ranger, Wild Wild West (1999), and Hulk (2003), to name a few. She was the stunt double for Sarah Michelle Gellar on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the martial arts trainer for Rosa Salazar on Alita: Battle Angel (2019).

In 2020, she wrote the children's book The Curious Mind of Sebastian.
