Biography
With a career spanning over two and a half decades, Dante Basco is a Hollywood actor who has become a cult classic and pioneering figure in Asian American cinema. He was first introduced to the world in Steven Spielberg's fairytale movie Hook (1991) as Rufio, the leader of the Lost Boys. He is also known for leading roles, like Newline's Take the Lead (2006), opposite Antonio Banderas, and The Debut (2000), which became the voice of a Filipino American generation.
Ever versatile, he voices the title character in Disney's animated series American Dragon: Jake Long, as well as Prince Zuko in Nickelodeon's phenomenal hit, Avatar: The Last Airbender. His other voice roles include the voice of General Iron in The Legend of Korra, Scorpion in Ultimate Spider-Man, and Jai Kell in Star Wars: Rebels.
He is set to reprise the role of Zuko in the 2026 movie Aang: The Last Airbender.
