Winnipeg (Manitoba), October 2, 2024 – Winnipeg Comiccon 2024 is less than a month away, and the team is thrilled to announce the addition of (2) two legendary actors from The Lord of the Rings trilogy! SEAN ASTIN, best known for his iconic role of Samwise Gamgee, but also in The Goonies, Rudy and Stranger Things, as well as BILLY BOYD, known for playing Peregrin “Pippin” Took, will both be at the RBC Convention Centre, October 26 and 27. They will be present to meet fans, sign autographs and will jump on stage for a 45-minute conversation.
