WINNIPEG COMICCON 2021 WITH SPECIAL GUESTS LAURIE HOLDEN, LOU FERRIGNO & JOHN DE LANCIE!

Winnipeg, September 29, 2021 – Winnipeg Comiccon is delighted to announce the special guests that will be joining them for their inaugural event! Fans will be thrilled by the presence of Canadian American actress Laurie Holden who is mostly known for her roles in The Walking Dead, The Mist, and Silent Hill. She also just wrapped up filming the third season of the popular series The Boys, in which she plays the role of Crimson Countess.

In addition, Lou Ferrigno, best known as the title character on the hit television show, The Incredible Hulk, will be there to meet fans. At the age of 21, Ferrigno became the youngest winner of the Mr. Universe title in its history. He has also collaborated on providing the voice of The Hulk in several of the MCU films, including The Avengers (2012), The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and Thor: Ragnarok (2017).

 

Finally, John de Lancie will also be in Winnipeg this fall. John de Lancie is recognized for his role of Q in numerous Star Trek series (1987 – present), such as Star Trek: The Next Generation. You can see him now in the new season of Star Trek: Picard. The American actor was also seen in Breaking Bad, Stargate SG-1 and voiced Discord in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

 

The three actors will be at the RBC Convention Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31, 2021.

 

ATTRACTIONS
Come to Winnipeg Comiccon and pay a visit to some of the best cosplay groups in town! Ghostbusters fans will be delighted by the presence of the Winnipeg Ghostbusters. The 501st Renegade Squad and the Vhetin’Ade Clan(Manitoba’s chapter of the Mandalorian Mercs) will also be there with some of the most impressive Star Wars cosplayers in the country.

The number one priority of the entire Winnipeg Comiccon Team will remain the safety and security of all visitors. Masks and proof of vaccination will be required to attend the event. Handwashing and disinfecting gel stations will also be available throughout RBC Convention Centre.
