October 11, 2023 – Winnipeg Comiccon is pleased to announce that The Armorer herself EMILY SWALLOW is joining the fun and will be present on Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29! She is one of the stars of the live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, currently streaming on Disney+. Swallow is often remembered for playing Amara, the supremely powerful primordial entity, The Darkness, in The CW’s Supernatural, for which she returned for the series’ final season. She voiced Dracula’s spirited wife Lisa Tepes on the Netflix animated series Castlevania and the Seraphite Emily, in the blockbuster video game The Last of Us Part II.
In addition, CERINA VINCENT will also be present at Comiccon. She is known for her appearance in the horror film Cabin Fever (2002) and for playing the Yellow Ranger in the series Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Lastly, the Incredible Hulk himself LOU FERRIGNO will be joining us in Winnipeg from October 27 to 29 to meet fans!
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet some of their most beloved celebrities, such as Guests of Honour MICHAEL ROOKER (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead) and SEAN ASTIN (The Lord of the Rings); TED RAIMI (The Evil Dead movies, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Quarry); the T-1000 himself ROBERT PATRICK (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Peacemaker, The Night Agent); AMBER MIDTHUNDER (Prey, Legion, Roswell, New Mexico); The TRAILER PARK BOYS, GIANCARLO ESPOSITO (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad); PAUL SUN-HYUNG LEE (The Mandalorian, Kim’s Convenience, Avatar: The Last Airbender); as well as voice actors MAURICE LAMARCHE and ROB PAULSEN (Pinky & The Brain, Animaniacs, Futurama, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
