**Sean Astin had to postpone his appearance in Winnipeg**
Winnipeg (Manitoba), July 25, 2023. – Winnipeg Comiccon is thrilled to kick off its 3rd edition with a first major guest announcement! Actor SEAN ASTIN will be appearing at the RBC Convention Centre to meet fans on October 28 and 29, 2023. More details on his exact schedule to come.
Sean Astin is best known for his cult role of Samwise Gamgee in the trilogy of the Lord of the Rings. He was also seen in The Goonies (1985), Rudy (1993) and most recently in the popular series Stranger Things.
Over the course of three days, the event will be packed with hundreds of activities, including celebrity autographs, photo op sessions, and more than 50 panels and workshops ranging from 300 to 1500 attendees.
