Winnipeg, Manitoba, August 2, 2023 – Winnipeg Comiccon is happy to announce the addition of two veteran actors in the world of Sci-Fi and Television! Actors GIANCARLO ESPOSITO and PAUL SUN-HYUNG LEE, both starring in the popular series The Mandalorian, will be appearing at the RBC Convention Centre to meet fans on October 28 and 29, 2023. Giancarlo Esposito is best known for his dramatic roles in series such as Breaking Bad and its prequel Better Call Saul, The Boys, and, more recently, in Star Wars’ The Mandalorian. On the big screen, he was seen in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing (1989) and School Daze (1988).
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is a three-time Canadian Screen Award winner for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance as family patriarch Appa in Kim’s Convenience, which ran for five seasons. Most recently, Lee has appeared in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, playing New Republic Ranger, Captain Carson Teva. He can be seen in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
